The Greater Augusta HBCU Alumni Alliance was organized in February 2013.  Chapter representatives from twelve Historically Black College and University alumni chapters came together expressing an interest in forming an HBCU alumni alliance. Today, twenty one universities and colleges make up the Augusta HBCU Alliance.  Our mission/goal is to assist high school juniors and seniors in making decisions about college and careers.  We want to encourage students to consider HBCUs when enrolling in college by providing scholarships to graduating high school seniors who are enrolled at a Historically Black Colleges or Universities.
