The Greater Augusta HBCU Alumni Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 2013 to guide high school juniors and seniors in their career and college decisions. We are proud to represent 21 local HBCU alumni chapters dedicated to promoting the value of an HBCU education.
Scholarships: Since 2013, we have awarded over $140,000 to students attending HBCUs.
Community Outreach: We support local organizations, including the 100 Black Men, Paine College, the Golden Harvest Food Bank, the Jessye Norman School of the Arts, the Boys and Girls Club, and the Augusta Mini Theater.
Student Support: We provide essential school supplies for K-8 students and holiday food baskets for families in need.
Events: We host an annual HBCU college and career fair, as well as a 5K Fun Run/Walk and health fair to fund our scholarship program.
Join the Alliance: To become a member of the Greater Augusta HBCU Alumni Alliance, there is a one-time joining fee of $250 per HBCU alumni chapter. The joining fees are applied to operating costs and seed money for a scholarship fundraiser sponsored during the year.
